Pick My Advisor is a technology bridge for civic transparency. We are an independent civic-tech platform that connects citizens with ward officials and professional advisors. We are NOT a government agency or law firm.

- We provide access to sourced civic data and ward information
- We connect users with licensed legal and financial professionals
- We offer tools for civic empowerment including complaint filing and legal notice generation
Section 02
User Responsibility
By using Pick My Advisor, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information when filing grievances or generating legal notices
- Not misuse the legal notice feature for frivolous or false claims
- Respect the privacy of officials and not harass them
- Comply with all applicable laws including the IT Act and Karnataka Sakala Services Act
- Verify the accuracy of your complaint details before submission

Fee Structure & Refund Policy
Finding your ward and seeing responsible contacts is always free. PMA's fees (₹1, ₹99) are platform service fees for PMA's own service. PMA does not charge for, or take a share of, the fees of any independent regulated professional:

Non-refundable
All fees are non-refundable once the service has been initiated. This includes:
- A complaint has been created and routed (except a PMA technical error)
- A ₹99 connection has been made and delivered
- Any digital service delivery has started
Payments are processed securely via Razorpay. A digital receipt is emailed to your registered email address upon successful payment.

Independent Professional Network
All advisors on this platform (Lawyers/CAs) are independent professionals. Pick My Advisor verifies credentials but is not responsible for the quality of services rendered. Each professional sets their own terms of engagement.
Section 05
Limitation of Liability
Pick My Advisor is not liable for:
- Delays or non-responses from government officials
- Actions or inactions by governance bodies
- Quality of services provided by independent advisors
- Outcomes of legal notices or consultations
We facilitate communication but do not control government processes or third-party professional services.
